These rankings should only contain athletes who hold a Surrey qualification (Click on the County Qualification button above for definition). It is not easy for the compilers to be certain whether an athlete has a county qualification unless they have entered a county championship. We rely upon the Surrey clubs to advise us of any of their members who are not Surrey-qualified.
We currently produce rankings for outdoor track & field performances that equal or better the
Surrey standard in each of the standard events for the U13 Girls, U13 Boys, U15 Girls, U15 Boys, U17 Women, U17 Men, U20 Women & U20 Men age groups. (Note. Rankings for male athletes are available back to 2001 and for female athletes back to 2002.)
The following Rankings are available (date of last update shown):-

With the exception of the Men and Women categories entries in the lists are confined to those athletes in the specified age group. Therefore if, for example, an U15 competitor has a performance that betters the U17 standard they will only appear in the U15 listing and not the U17 listing. Where an athlete performs in an event which is not standard for their age group but is standard for an older age group then they will appear in the older age group's listing with their age group shown following their name. The listings for the Men and Women categories are for all athletes, regardless of their age group.
Please note that the layout of the pages displaying the rankings has changed. The menu buttons have been moved from the left hand column to the top of the page. This allows more of the page width to be used to display the names etc. and should mean fewer entries will require 2 lines. A consequence is that the rankings information has moved down the page. It is possible to suppress the display of the buttons by clicking on the red "HIDE MENU BUTTONS" button at the top right of the screen - this has the effect of moving the rankings up the page. To reinstate the menu buttons click on the red "SHOW MENU BUTTONS".
A new feature for 2008 is the display of the County Record as at the beginning of the year (except for the Under 13s where there are no Surrey records). As with the menu buttons it is possible to suppress the display of County Records and Power of 10 Standards - the default setting is not to show them - click on "SHOW RECORDS & TARGETS" to show them.
We would welcome updates as follows:-
Performances are only included if they have been achieved at meetings held under UKA Rules for Competition and are organised by affiliated clubs,
county associations (eg Surrey County AA), territories (eg South of England AA) and national governing bodies (eg UKA & AAAoE). In addition performances achieved at Schools meetings
at county level (eg Surrey Schools Championships or equivalent for other counties) or at meetings where athletes are representing either their County Schools Association or their National Schools Association (eg English Schools Championships and Schools Internationals) level are accepted.
