STRUCTURE Updated 29 July 2003 This site has a multi-layered structure. The Home Page is at the top of the structure. There are 14 main categories at the first level down from the Home Page. These are shown in the left hand column (the Navigation Bar) on all pages. The selected items are shown with dark text on a light background with non-selected items having light text on a dark background. For example this page falls within the "Home" category. Some main categories have sub-levels eg Cross Country. These will only be shown in the Navigation Bar when the parent maincategory has been selected. The example below shows the situation for the page displaying the results of the 2003 U13 Girls Cross Country Championship. To get to this page your would select "Cross Country" followed by "2002-2003" followed by "County Championships" followed by "U13 Girls" in the Navigation Bar. This means that we need to go through 4 levels of the structure: LEVEL 1: The 14 main categories are shown. The selected main category "Cross Country" is shown with dark text. LEVEL 2: This is where the calendar year is selected from "2002-2003", "2001-2002" and "2000-2001". Because we have chosen a championship held in 2002-2003 then "2002-2003" has the dark text whilst the other years have light text. LEVEL 3: At this level we have selected the discipline "County Championships" which again is shown with dark text. . LEVEL 4: At this level we have selected the age group "U13 Girls". Where another year is shown in the Navigation Bar then by clicking on that button you will select the equivalent page for that year. For example the Track & Field Rankings have been loaded for the years 2000 - 2003. Therefore if you at the page for the 2003 Rankings (route = "Track & Field" : "2003" : "Rankings") you will see the years "2002", "2001" and "2000" shown. By clicking on "2001" you will go the 2001 Rankings. A similar arrangement exists for County Championships which allows direct movement from one year's results to the equivalent page for another year.
