BETTY SMITH (2000)

Past President (1989), a member of Epsom and Ewell Harriers, assisted in County Team Management and was Standards Secretary for many of the Championships meetings. Betty's funeral was held on 28 July at the Easthampstead Crematorium. The County sent a floral tribute and several members of the executive committee attended what proved to be a very simple, but moving, service which was conducted by Betty's cousin. Peter was most appreciative of the attendance and sent his thanks to the Association.

PETER SMITH 1920 - 2007
It is with regret that we inform you that on 20th September 2007 Peter Smith died. Peter, a long-time member of Epsom & Ewell Harriers, was a Field Referee for many years and a regular attender of both County Championships and club events in that capacity. He was President of the Association in 1992.
