COUNTY ATHLETES CAN APPLY FOR FREE ACCESS TO SURREY SPORTS FACILITIES
The Free Access for County Sportspeople (FACS) has been launched in two further Boroughs of Surrey.
Reigate & Banstead and Surrey Heath Borough Councils have joined with Woking BC, Spelthorne BC, Runneymede BC and Tandridge LL to provide opportunities to encourage and ensure their sporting talent become the stars of the future.
Sportsmen and women who represent Surrey at their chosen sport are being offered the opportunity to train free of charge at their local Leisure centres.
The scheme means County players can use their local sports centres free of charge at weekends and between 9am-5pm weekdays.
It applies to County representatives at both junior and senior level who live within one of the six Boroughs. Anyone applying for a FACS card must be of County standard or above in their sport and provide a supporting letter from an official within their governing body.
The facilities which they can use for free will be restricted to those which relate to their specialist sport and will be listed in their membership details.
To apply for a FACS card you should contact your Borough Sports/Leisure Development Officer.
